Which DB field is updated

Hi Tanguy,

very nice tool.
But one question:

We have mutliple organizations which basically share the same customizations. When we import the customizations from our basic organisation to the others, we have to change some searchable fields, since some fields are supposed to be searchable in one organisation but not in the other one.
Your tool definitely helps us out there.

But it would be even more easy if we could run a script (i.e. sql-script) after each customization import that sets the corresponding fields searchable.
So my question is: In the source code of your tool, which db field do you set to change the searchability of a field?

Thanks!

Hi Tustle,

The DB column is "IsValidForAdvancedFind" in the table MetadataSchema.Attribute

Hey,

thanks for the quick response.

But I cannot find the column “IsValidForAdvancedFind” in that table…

We’re talking about CRM 2011, right?

Regards

Hi Tustle,

I answered that to fast... IsValidForAdvancedFind is the attribute... but the DB Column is DisplayMask.

Be careful! DisplayMask contains a lot of information, not only IsValidForAdvancedFind. It's a sum of bits, each bit is a specific feature for display...

Thanks a lot!
